Product Manager / Builder / Connector
I turn half-baked ideas into shipped products. From scrappy internal tools to full-stack F&B ecosystems — I own products end-to-end, connect the dots between teams, and increasingly use AI to move faster and think sharper.
✦ About Me
The Person
Behind the Products
I'm a Product Manager based in Singapore, originally from Penang — Malaysia's food paradise (yes, I'm spoilt with good food). I crossed the causeway in Sept 2022 as a foreign worker to build my first SG product, and never stopped.
Over 3.5 years at Koomi, I've owned products A–Z — from the first Figma frame to client training, App Store deployment, and live installs across Singapore, JB, and KL. Lately, I've been actively integrating AI into my daily workflow — using Claude and ChatGPT to draft PRDs faster, Figma AI to accelerate design exploration, and AI-assisted tools to write test cases and analyse user feedback.
Before tech, I spent 5+ years in tourism at Amazing Borneo in Sabah — where I learned to sell experiences, lead teams, and get things done across cultures. When I'm not shipping products, I'm underwater. Diving is life.

Ordering &
Front-of-House
QR ordering, kiosk, and physical touchpoints that connect diner to kitchen to payment.
Drafted the QR ordering workflow from scratch. Stayed on as the core integration bridge across ordering, POS, loyalty, and payments as it became the platform's flagship front-of-house product.
Took the legacy noviKiosk and overhauled the UI to match Koomi's newer product aesthetic. Owned the integration requirements between KoomiKiosk, noviPOS, and KoomiPay — translating what needed to work across systems into specs the dev team could act on. Handed over cleanly once the product stabilised and a dedicated PM was in place.
Built a digital lucky draw kiosk from absolute zero — frontend UI, backend dashboard, HitPay, Touch 'n Go, and ShopBack integrations. Owned every product decision except pricing.
Loyalty
& CRM
Merchant-owned customer data, member perks, and email engagement — built in-house and integrated into client websites.
Built a full CRM/loyalty platform integrated deep into the POS. Started solo with zero PM guidance, navigating internal roadblocks and complex API dependencies. Launched first version April 2024. Iterated continuously through Dec 2025 based on live merchant feedback.
Migrated 20,000 customer records — points, vouchers, history — from a client's previous platform into Koomi CRM. The migration landed in October with a wave of ad-hoc requests that pushed the scope well beyond the original brief. Not everything was perfect on day one. I stayed on it — adjusting data, communicating gaps honestly with the client, and working through every issue methodically. By January we were revisiting edge cases. By March it was closed. What I learned: a migration is never just data. It's trust, and you earn it back through consistency, not perfection.
PM-ing the integration of Koomi CRM into external client websites — not coding, but owning the full requirement bridge between client needs and our dev team. Translating what clients want their loyalty experience to look like into clear API specs, user flows, and acceptance criteria that developers can act on without going back and forth.
Payments
In-house payment infrastructure powering transactions across every Koomi touchpoint.
The most commercially critical product in the stack. My involvement evolved over time — started with issue consolidation and dev facilitation, built enough domain knowledge to become useful, and after company restructuring in 2025 took on requirements analysis and prioritisation for new features. Not the primary owner, but a meaningful contributor who understands how the payment logic connects to every other product.
Mini POS used by many merchants. Responsible for product testing — especially integration touchpoints with KoomiCRM and noviPOS. Coordinated closely with the KoomiPay PM Edmund.
POS &
Platform
The next generation of Koomi's core operating system — POS, ecommerce, and cloud infrastructure.
Next-generation POS built on KoomiCloud. Translating CPO requirements into dev-ready specs — full A–Z ownership across UI, dev, testing, and delivery. Preparing Android POS devices for FHA 2026.
Took over from the outgoing Head of Product in March 2025. Refined core ecom modules — products, sales orders, checkout flow — and successfully migrated the first client from a legacy platform. The platform handles real transactions today. The remaining work is onboarding, edge cases, and scale — not fundamentals.
First end-to-end mobile app I owned. No product owner on client side — managed multi-layer stakeholders through structured docs and presentations. Designed full UI in Figma with prototype-level fidelity. Developer had near-zero questions during build. Set up App Store and Play Store independently.
Early &
Internal Tools
The products nobody documented. All takeovers. All shipped.
First product in Singapore. Took over a half-baked B2B ecommerce platform, redesigned in Figma, and shipped a product sales teams were actively selling.
Took over at ~30% completion with zero docs. Owned UI, system requirements, dev coordination, QA, delivery, and live client training.
Procurement backend for Fresh 1's supply chain. Bridged a Chinese-speaking client and Vietnamese dev team to deliver a working tool on time.
✦ Before Tech
Amazing Borneo
Sabah, Malaysia · 2016–2022
5+ years in one company, six role changes — not because of reshuffles, but because I kept taking on more than I was asked to. Went from handling sales enquiries to running marketing for a multi-market tourism brand to managing projects end-to-end. Worked with guides, clients, corporate accounts, and C-suite — often in the same week. The ability to shift register, earn trust quickly, and keep things moving without a clear playbook — that started here.
✦ Education
BSc (Hons.) Biochemistry
Universiti Tunku Abdul Rahman (UTAR) · 2009–2013
Biochemistry at UTAR taught me to break a complex system into testable parts and work methodically when the answer isn't obvious. That's closer to writing product requirements than most people expect. The move into tech wasn't a plan — but the instinct to ask “how does this actually work?” followed me into every product I've built.

Georges App
Consumer mobile app · Apr – Sep 2025
A walkthrough of the full Figma prototype I designed for Georges — a consumer app built on KoomiCloud. No product owner on the client side meant I owned every decision: information architecture, user flows, screen states, and edge cases. The prototype was detailed enough that the developer had near-zero questions during the entire build.
Koomi CRM
Loyalty & membership platform · Live since Apr 2024
The customer-facing side of the loyalty platform I built from scratch — where members sign up, check their points, redeem vouchers, and manage their profile. Built without third-party dependency so merchants own their customer data entirely. Started solo with zero PM guidance and launched the first version in April 2024.
